PhpLink Directory How To Install a Template

This is step by step userfriendly guide for quick and smooth phpLD templates installation. Normally each template you download should come with such installation quide. Now we will explain how to install the template properly so that your directory can work fine.

For the version 3.0.X:

The process is very easy and can be done with just few mouse clicks. You simply need to open the webhosting control panel where all your website files are located. There you will see a bunch ot folders and one of them should be called root directory/Templates. Inside this Templates folder you will see all default templates that come with the php Link Directory default installation. You simply need to copy and paste the folder with your new template or if you have a .zip file of this template- simply extract it there.

Now the hard work is done, you simply need to log in to the admin back end and go to your domain.com/admin---> System---> Templates Manager and simply activate your newly uploaded template
