Left without treatment and control, the disease can lead to complete blindness. This is why glaucoma is particularly dangerous and treachery. There are predisposing factors for developing glaucoma. It occurs more often over 45 years of age in people with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, myopia and family burden. Early detection of glaucoma is a critical time for its treatment. It is therefore mandatory measurement of inter ocular pressure in people over 40 years, visited eye surgery. The main goal of therapy is aimed at reducing the inter ocular pressure and improving blood in the eye. The idea is to stop the progression of the process to stabilize vision and of course, to preserve the patient's vision. This can be achieved by placing drops in eyes treated with laser or surgery. In the fight against glaucoma the doctor-patient relationship is very important. It is important to realize the seriousness of the disease. It is the good cooperation from the patient to achieve the desired results.
